Flexible hours, high expectations, little acknowledgement.
Assistant Product Manager in Zurich:
Pros: You can generally choose when to arrive in the morning and when to leave in the evening. There is no dress code and the hierarchies are rather flat. Overtime can be used to take time off or can be paid at the end of the year.
Cons: It's a lowly position and yet the expectations are incredibly high. It often happens that I do more than what is in my job description but I get zero compensation for that.
The work is tedious and boring after a while. I had no previous experience and after 3 months I was no longer learning anything new.
