Everything is negotiable.
Admissions Advisor (College/University):
The job is very demanding as the student population in accelerated business programs are adult professionals, and with that comes increased expectations. As the admissions advisor, I am the front person, I am representing the university and have to interpret the policies regarding transfer of courses, some of which may not be what they want to hear. Given the demands and high level of professional knowledge and recruitment experience required of this career, someone with an extensive background and a proven record of delivering high numbers should negotiate to receive a higher salary and benefits. Especially women, who are the most under-represented in the field of education.
