Administrative Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as an Administrative Assistant?
December 2013
Administrative Work.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: I like processing the invoices and the record keeping. I like that it has flexible hours and that I am mostly left to do my own work and not overly monitored.
Cons: I do not like filling in for the receptionist for long periods of time. I am not too fond of the corporate atmosphere and the closed in cubicles. Too many people in the company to be able to get to know everyone.

Administrative Assistant:
Make sure you are passionate about your work, dedicated and diligent.

Lack Of Benefits
Administrative Assistant:
This is an excellent job if you enjoy working with patients. It is, however, not good employment for building a pension or if you are the main 'bread winner' of the family. Most physicians pay much less than the average wage for a two-year college certificate.
December 2013
Calm And Friendly Office.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: Everyone is friendly, my boss is very nice and understanding, also close to home.
Cons: Boring, un-fulfilling and does not align with my interests.

Give an Employer an Inch, They'll Take Your Life.
Administrative Assistant:
Find an alternate career...something that makes you happy.
December 2013
Bunch of misfits.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: No micromanaging involved and great benefits.
Cons: There's a bunch of misfits and people don't know what they're doing and they're title is "manager" without managing employees.
December 2013
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: Working on presentations.
Editing and giving my thoughts on a subject.
Organizing meetings, lunches etc...
Cons: Answering the phone.
Data entry.
Doing other peoples work.
Only 2 weeks vacation.
