Administration Clerk in Amherst:
I was unhappy and left for a few reasons. A supervisor who engaged in endless petty turf battles with other departments which made my job working with them much harder. And she couldn't manage a homophobic coworker who loved creating a hostile environment for colleagues. Low pay and very few opportunities for advancement. The unions, while beneficial in some regards, also created a culture of stagnation where bad employees couldn't be fired for egregious behavior.
