Disregard for Employees.
Activities Assistant in Lone Pine:
Pros: The connections that I have made with the residents are very fulfilling.
Cons: The hospital is currently bankrupt meaning they pinch every penny that they can. I feel underpaid for the work that I do because I work for the residents rather than to please the managers or the hospital. Every resident that I have asked has told me that I am their favorite and have given me reasons why they prefer me over the other activities personel.
March 2018
Activities Assistant in Batavia:
Pros: I like being able to help the residents. It makes my day when I know I made a resident laugh and have a good day.
Cons: Being short handed. Trying to do more than one job at a time.
