To do this job efficiently, the small details of every day work are important. Set routines and rules for yourself and be diligent in following those guidelines. Looking out for the company is number one. If your customers have issues with invoicing and don't pay, in the end your paycheck will see the results. Keep notes on all accounts to keep track of conversations regarding payments, etc. Follow up with customers is key.
