WellStar Health System Reviews

What is it like working at WellStar Health System?

My experience has been very disappointing and extremely stressful.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Marietta:
Pros: My colleagues
Cons: Micromanagement and too many unnecessary tasks. Shortage of supplies and STAFF
It’s busy , challenging , rewarding.
Surgery Scheduler in Morristown:
Pros: It’s a community bases hospital and the employees genuinely care about the patients
Cons: It seems things are often decided by the people who don’t do the job directly
It could be better. I don't feel my position should be phased out just because I'm an LPN.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Powder Springs:
Pros: I love working in hospice. I enjoy interacting with the patients and families and also the interdisciplinary team
Cons: management and how situations are handled.
Awesome environment, under paid.
Marketing Strategist in Atlanta:
Pros: Flex schedule, culture and the team I work with
Cons: I feel underpaid for what I do.
Manager, Change Management in Atlanta:
Pros: Projects and some people
Cons: Gossip and politics
Basically, overworked, underappreciated, and stressed out. Poor managenent!
Medical Office Front Desk Specialist in Marietta:
Pros: Interacting with the patients. Helping their day go well.
Cons: Office manager micromanaged, has blatant favorites, while others are never given new opportunities and are stuck with redundant tasks that could and should be automated. For instance, for many years I had to call every single patient on the schedule, sometimes upward of 100 to confirm their appointment. This took most of my day, and since I also had to check patients out and schedule tests and return visits as well as help with disability paperwork, I was under a lot of pressure to even finish by day's end.
Very informative and productive.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Columbus:
Pros: There is so much you can learn and do to move up in the career choice that you choose to work in
Cons: The turn over rate. We need more dependable workers
