Wal-Mart Stores, Inc Reviews
What is it like working at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc?
Never work as a Maintenance Associate for Walmart.
Maintenance Associate in Eugene:
Pros: The freedom to choose which tasks I work on (to a very limited degree)
Cons: Pretty much everything else. Probably the pay. 14/hr full time still doesn’t pay my rent being at the time one of the cheaper places in the city.
Works well with my life style but it is stressful lately.
Overnight Stocker in Edmonton:
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Giving help to others all the time not having time to look after your own departments
Great work under paid.
Asset Protection Manager in St. Petersburg:
Pros: Ability to do my job and work with my team to do the best work.
Cons: Not using my education as a benefit for pay.
Stressful but balanced with my pay.
Merchandise Manager in Pasadena:
Pros: Opportunity to grow
Cons: Treatment of overall higher management &stressful situations put in variety throughout time
Very little pay for a lot of work but it’s a job.
Building Maintenance Worker in Orange:
Pros: It’s a job
Cons: The amount of work they expect for how little the pay is even after many years service
Walmart Cashiers need to be paid more than absolute poverty wages.
Cashier in Great Falls:
Pros: Being able to help people
Cons: Having to be on my feet all day, not enough pay, very strict dress code, very stressful environment at least 80% of the time
Fair, but misunderstood.
Asset Protection Associate in North Augusta:
Pros: The ability to learn multiple aspects of the business. The real side of the company and how it truly works.
Cons: The stigma the Asset Protection Associates are snitches or fake cops. Also the completely overwhelming amount of work dumped on AP in general.
