UnitedHealth Group Reviews

What is it like working at UnitedHealth Group?

Steady Company offering intresting work.
Finance Manager in Orlando:
Pros: Great people, great technology, great products and services, meaningful work.
Zero job security, high stress, downsizing annually.
Accounting Manager in Indianapolis:
Pros: The employees I work with at UHG.
Cons: Zero job security, downsizing as a matter of routine at least annually.
Very demanding and stressful work. Poor work life balance. Spread to thin, lack of help and support.
Business Operations Director in San Diego:
Pros: Interesting and I am able to drive my group as I like without much direction.
Cons: Work load is not realistic for the number of employees I have. Work tools are out of date and lead to extra work load
Associate Business Analyst in Scottsdale:
The pay is so low that when I was laid off and went to a new role in the same field salary increased by almost 50%. Also, I was laid off with two weeks notice after being at the company almost five years.
Busy and Challenging.
Product Owner in Los Angeles:
Pros: The people I directly work with and the type of work I do.
Cons: The lack of communication and collaboration with areas outside of my team
Has its pros and cons.
Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Havertown:
Pros: You don’t have to take work home, you can dress comfortably and I like the people I work with.
Cons: My commute is about an hour and a half everyday to and from work; because I have a degree I feel I should be paid more, and I’m not in area of healthcare I ideally imagined.
UHG from my perspective.
Utilization Management (UM) Case Manager in Phoenix:
Pros: Working from home
Cons: Direct Manager
