Pros: as an entry level job field, grocery is a great place to start. There are hundreds of Kroger stores across America and they’re almost always in need of some form of labor. There’s lots of opportunity for advancement
Cons: you truly have no room to shape your field as you’d like. You can always make suggestions, but don’t expect change to come from them

Pros: Besides being promoted to manager, the jump between meat clerk and certified meatcutter is the one promotion available in meat/seafood. Highly recommended :P

Cons: uneven work loads, abuse of time and attendance system, lack of hiring help from management. wasteful spending
Work load is increasing, prices are increasing, needs are increasing but the pay is staying the same with little in crease at all.
Stock Clerk, Grocery Store in Louisville:
Pros: Filling my shelves is fine
Cons: Doing more work and not getting that much pay
