What is it like working at The Kroger Company?

Hard work, challenging work, long hours. Physically demanding.
Utility Clerk in Arlington:
Pros: The people at my store
Cons: Not being able to get full time
Laid back at times/stressful at others.

Pros: I have multiple tasks to do on a daily basis/ it has the ability to be fast paced
Cons: I feel like it can be tedious to present new ideas/almost impossible at times even when its obvious changes need to be made
Night shift is just "meh"
Stocker in Acworth:
Pros: night shift, store is closed, no customers, nobody but the stockers and a few tag people. Nothing else to worry about but the job itself.
Cons: Your good work is largely unnoticed, and the only thing they see is what WASN'T done during your shift. Also there is 0 communication with management which leads to almost every single problem with the job itself.
Busy but rewarding.
Shipping Supervisor in Hutchinson:
Pros: Casual but fast paced organization
Cons: No real training, just pick it up as you go. This is great for go getters.
Poor.
Deli Clerk in Southlake:
Pros: I like working with customers and seeing the familiar faces. I am extremely proficient at my profession and go above and beyond and enjoy it when it comes to customers and my coworkers who are of equal stature.
Cons: The managers are mean when it comes to employees they feel are not kissing up to them.
Management needs improvement.
Grocery Clerk in Dallas:
Pros: Weekly pay that’s about it at the moment
Cons: The managers don’t appreciate anything
If it weren't for the customers I wouldn't be there.
