The Boeing Company Reviews

What is it like working at The Boeing Company?

Software Engineer in Seattle:
Work life balance is good, but the pay is severely below average for software developers. The company has multiple job classes for essentially the same statements of work. Others enjoy higher pay than industry which masks the dissatisfaction of their developers. If you are a developer, only join Boeing for a max of 2 years and get out.
Materials Engineer in Seattle:
Excellent benefits. Many opportunities for growth. Educational reimbursement. Well compensated. Interesting technology. Global opportunities. Only downside: management needs to get their heads out of their rear ends.
Purchasing Manager in Phoenix:
Politics are us: listening to its employees is a forgotten character. That is why the company is in the shape it is in today! Even with proven statistics that savings and weight reduction can be acheived, none of my ideas were implemented. I wish I would have chosen a different carrier. Now, today, very prejudice toward white males. Heil Obama Bin Laden!
Long time employee.
Computer Security Specialist in Pasadena:
Pros: Benefits
Cons: Occasional relocation during reorganizations and occasional layoff cycles
A great place to work if you only want to work here.
Design Engineer in Seattle:
Pros: Flexibility
Cons: Experience is limited to Aerospace
A very rewarding experience.
Field Service Representative in Tacoma:
Pros: How they let me interact with my customer
Cons: The way they take benefits away from non union employees
A very hands on role in systems testing that involves full scale systems testing and troubleshooting as well as bench-level work.
Test Engineer in Titusville:
Pros: The product that we work on
Cons: The unpredictable hours
