Registered Nurse (RN) in Austin:
Pros: Interaction with patients is the only reason I choose this job.
Cons: Changes since Tenet took over USPI do not recognize that RNs are the cogs in the wheel. Horrible staffing, hours cut, hiring freeze, bonuses taken away. We’re a big nasty corporate giant when we were a family of caring, compassionate caregivers. I’m a number now, not a person. Upper management is demeaning, snobby and condescending.
