Sherwin Williams Co. Reviews

What is it like working at Sherwin Williams Co.?

Store Manager.
Retail Store Manager in Greensboro:
Pros: Helping customers with their projects, troubleshooting and solving problems.
Cons: Customers, employee relations
It’s okay if you have a good manager that can teach you things.
Sales Representative in Honolulu:
Pros: It’s a good company to work for it’s just some times it feels like your immediate manager just think about themselves and not for the customers or employees
Cons: The compensation plans are rigged for management.
Overbearing, micro-managing middle management, with all feedback to all employees being negative.
Assistant Store Manager in Vancouver:
Pros: My immediate co-workers, and customers
Cons: Outrageous expectations, little reward. Lots of negative feedback. Zero positive feedback. Major accomplishments are not recognized.
SherJob.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Lexington:
Pros: Interacting with different customers on a day to day bases. Knowing that there is always room to move up in the company.
Cons: It’s always feels like we are understaffed. A lot of movement happening inside the company.
Technical Sales Representative (TSR) in Waipahu:
Pros: It’s a great company to work for providing you have a good manager
Cons: They expect you to grow the sales without the backing of a good manager who dictates how to take care of our local customers which I strongly disagree. We should be able to make our own decisions on how to take care of our local customers cause we are from the area and they aren’t. It seems like it’s only about manager lining his own pockets without taking care of the right employees and customers.
You’re just a number.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Yakima:
Pros: Conworkers and some customers
Cons: Micromanaged not enough employees to take some burden off of you. Upper management doesn’t give two fingers about your problems on being understaffed. You work 65+ hours weekly and only get paid for 44 hours. Very unrealistic goals set per store/mangers. If you want to succeed in this company you have to drink the kool aid. A whole bunch of it. Also, you must become a robot/sherbot.
Getting old/need a chance or advancement in my career.
Assistant Manager in Mobile:
Pros: Customer relations and exceeding sales budgets
Cons: Feeling stale in my growth at the company
