Average Hourly Rate for Scottsdale Healthcare Employees

Pros: Coming back to familiar faces was a refreshing treat after 5 years in Los Angeles. The staff on my floor does appear to really try to help each other out. There are some nice resources still available (but I hear they are in danger of being downsized) like the PICC nursing team and pain management team, but I was disappointed they scrapped their patient advocate resource team. Decent tuition reimbursement program, I believe around $5200 a years (the same it was 5 years ago, by the way)

Cons: Chronically understaffed unlicensed and licensed staffing, poor, expensive options for health insurance that make it nearly impossible to accept, as if they are trying to force their own employees into the exchange. Since I have started back, all I have heard is a concern they are going to lose their Magnet designation due to increased falls, Foley infections, and decreased nursing staff satisfaction. The attitude of the staff is one of feeling not respected, despondent, and fed up. I've lived in this neighborhood all my life, and was really looking forward to continuing my career in my neighborhood, but I am already looking elsewhere for my next job. I have been there since July and the change is palpable for sure.
