Pros: I learned a lot from the boss I had before. She taught me a lot of things that helped me be a awsome care giver a be confident in my care. There are activities to keep residents active mentally and physically. I make the residents day when I come to work and care for them.

Cons: The new director doesn't really care. Nor does the nurse. Patients get sick a die for neglect on managements part. Aides are not taken seriously. Lack of aides for proper care. Food from main kitchen is terrible. Residents complain daily and yell at us the aides. No REAL security for safety of staff as well as residents. Lack of proper equipment like blood pressure cuffs, SpO2 monitors, scales for weight, etc to do a proper job of vitals. Mold in toilets and refrigerators. No proper housekeeping. Caregivers aren't appreciated by management.

Pros: I like the res. I work with on SCU and the staff.

Cons: Haven't got a raise in 5 years and even had a 3% pay cut because I made over 15.00 an hour dont feel very appreciated by the admin we are short handed and we do the best we can a pat on the back or even good job would be nice.
