Sam's Club Reviews
What is it like working at Sam's Club?
Challenging but rewarding.
Customer Service Supervisor in Pearland:
Pros: Positive members interaction. I enjoy the benefits such as insurance, 401k, etc.
Cons: Working with people that do not show self direction.
Cashier in Saint Paul:
It's retail - it is very customer oriented as expected. We have a plus (the "advanced") membership and credit card program that the managers wants us to sell a high number of it a day. For my store, it is 16 credits and plus each a day.
I used to be really happy working here but the management have changed. It is a high turn over. I'm only staying because it pays decently well for a minimal wage job.
Great, able to train people to do work adequately.
Team Leader, General in Rome:
Pros: Easy going
Cons: Lack of drive and work ethic of young employees
It's hard, lonely and dull on most days.
Stocker in Evans:
Pros: I'm paid somewhat, and it keeps bread on the table.
Cons: Being alone, managers who don't appreciate work, and ignore me when there's something important that has to be addressed.
Decent hours occasional overtime.
Meat Cutter in Schenectady:
Pros: Easy and straight forward, for the most part management leaves you alone as long as you are on time and do your job correctly.
Cons: Overcomplicated company policies that get in the way of getting the job done.
Discrimination in pay.
Combined Food Preparation and Serving Worker, Including Fast Food in Salina:
Pros: Food prep and interaction with members
Cons: New associates in my area make three to four dollars more an hour than I do. I am expected to do cleaning of ovens hood vents ice cream machine and prep tables
Hardwork, time management, carry heavy boxes.
Baker Helper in Honolulu:
Pros: Quarterly bonus.
