Administrative Assistant in Chicago, Illinois:
Pros: Friendly people and standard benefits that include Medical, Dental, and Vision. Medical also covers mental health.
Cons: Poor work-life balance. We only earn Paid Time Off. No Sick Leave nor Paid Holidays. We are obligated and forced to use our hard earned PTO for Holidays. These really eats through our Paid Time Off leaving us with a small amount of days to use for personal days, vacation, and sick leave. Burnout is really a thing here. HR department is very slow.
