PPG Industries, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at PPG Industries, Inc.?
It is not too bad.
Sales Assistant in Cardiff:
Pros: Staff and customers are friendly and always welcoming
Cons: Under paid and pressured all the time
Outstanding.
Maintenance Manager in Cedar Falls:
Pros: I get to solve problems and implement the solutions
Cons: The amount of work placed on my plate
No one in warehouse cares no manager cares.
Warehouse Worker in Leeds:
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No one cares
Sales Associate in Westfield:
Wish they pay more for dealing with ignorant customers on a daily basis, it really drains you. Benefits are nice, so are the vacation times. Working there is flexible at times and all the employees are good people.
Great workplace.
Operations Supervisor in Woodinville:
Pros: I enjoy being able to solve problems and be involved in decision making when it directly effects my area.
Cons: Having to do a lot more HR type of work.
Technology Manager in Los Angeles:
The underlying culture is great. Not overly competitive or political and opportunities for those willing to work hard and are good.
There are opportunities for those that work hard to get recognized. Every location can have a bad egg or under performer, but it is very unlikely for someone with major issues to stick around, or those that seriously poor performers to be there long. That said it is great if you are a decent performer looking for a stable job.
The company is shifting focus to growth, and chemists and materials backgrounds can help you get in and make a difference in new product development.
Just get it done mentality.
Regional/District Manager of Sales in Seattle:
Pros: The people
Cons: Poor Leadership
