Average Hourly Rate for Na Hoku Inc. Employees

Cons: 1. Opportunities to Advance - My old manager retired 2 years ago & they hired outside of the company, instead of looking at the eligible candidates in our department. The last 1.5 yrs, the 2 managers they hired from outside were let go because they couldn't do the job efficiently. The 3rd manager was promoted from within in the company, but from a different department & she was with the company less than 10 years. I've been with this company for 23 years in Distribution & have performed the jobs of my managers in the last 1.5 yrs...What does that say about the hiring process from within the company? 2. Pay Raises for Long Time Employees vs. Starting Pay for New Employees - Someone coming into the department NEW starts at a Rate that is only a $1 or so less than a Long Time Employee that's been here for more than 10 years...Now how is that fair? Keeping with the challenges of hiring good candidates? They should look at WHY they have Long Time Employees staying with the company first.
