Medtronic, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Medtronic, Inc.?

Stressful and often unrewarding.
Technical Writer in Plymouth:
Pros: Variability in work.
Cons: Lack of understanding on my own job description.
Information Technology (IT) Manager:
Was an excellent company to work for, since the change in management 6 months ago, it has become the worst company to work for - South Africa Branch. The International culture and standard is not being adhered to.
Regulatory Affairs Specialist:
Good comes with the bad. Can be extremely stressful but the benefits are great. For example, you are expected to put out more than 40 hours/week of work but still have a work life balance with 4 weeks PTO.
Challenging.
National Sales Manager in Brisbane:
Pros: Customers
Cons: Internal politics
Working through chaos to become the best.
Supply Chain Planner in Minneapolis:
Pros: Opportunity to make a difference
Cons: Lack of process control
Principal Electrical Engineer:
The company's defined by the mission, you always feel the needs of the patient. The company is adjusting to the new realities of being a therapy company, not just a device manufacturer. Pay is decent if not high, benefits are decent but shrinking like everyone else. I'd recommend it to people looking for a large company with variety of opportunities.
Just okay.
Senior Systems Engineer in Boulder:
Pros: Managing others and releasing products that make a difference
Cons: wasting time on projects that go no where, how difficult/slow it is to accomplish/complete a project
