Average Salary for Macdonald Training Center Employees

Pros: The positive impact you can make in someone's life and also the impact that it has on our community.

Cons: I feel that because I have been at MacDonald Training Center for 12 years, I am viewed as someone who will take whatever they give even if it is not in line with what my responsibilities are or in line with others in a similar position. The qualifications for how salaries are determined is not transparent, and over the last year I have realized that I am not paid fairly compared to not just other team members, but I have always been paid below the industry average in all five positions that I have held in my career at MTC.

Pros: Directing a innovative program that gives people with disabilities the education, training, support, and opportunity to obtain a successful career within their community, one that earns a living wage that leads to an independent and fulfilling life of their choosing.

Cons: The inconsistencies in position qualifications and the salaries earned between team members of similar titles. There is also lack of communication on what a person can do to qualify for a higher salary because there isn't a lot of transparency regarding how that is determined.
