What is it like working at Life Care Centers of America?

It would be a lot better if communication was better, when there is a problem it is discussed, pay raise was same as everyone else.
Dietary Aide in Paducah:
Pros: Seeing the residents and making their desserts presentable enough to want to eat.
Cons: Management!
Over worked, under paid and appreciated.
Social Services Director in Indianapolis:
Pros: Positive and successful discharges and my positive relationship with the physician and my co-workers
Cons: Too much workload for one person or even two people, My department needs three full time staff. Caseload for one individual should not exceed 35 residents.

Pros: Hands on experience. When I started my career in the HR world it felt more like a sectary job. I have gotten hands employee relations experience, full-cycle recruiting, workers compensation practices, etc.
Cons: Structure, at times you understand what your job includes but then other times you feel you take on more jobs that isn't in your realm of practice.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Colorado Springs:
Pros: Working with my co-workers.
Cons: Pay is lower compared to other companies and rarely receive 40 hours a week for full time.
It is stressful. We are understaffed.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in McAllen:
Pros: Taking care of elderly.
Cons: Not enough staff
You have to a have a team spirit to work as a Nurses' Aide at Life Care Center.
Nurse's Aide (Certified) in Hilo:
Pros: Interacting with the elderly and listening to their experiences and stories of life.
Cons: Staffing on a busy day.
I love it but it's too much with little pay. I love working with all our residents and I love seeing them getting well with their therapy treatments.
Rehabilitation Technician in Federal Way:
Pros: Working with all our residents. I love to see them making progress and getting better.
Cons: Over caseload but not enough pay.
