Average Hourly Rate for International House of The Pancakes Employees

Pros: The main part that is fun is the different characters you meet. From the employees to the customers. Some of them will get on your nerves and others will mostly keep to themselves. It's fun and draining at the same time. It's a great starter place for high school and college kids but as a long-term career, it's not the best but it's not the worst.

Cons: The part of my job that I least like is probably how I am personally treated. I have somehow become the go-to person for EVERYTHING. We have a new hire, "Anna can you enter their information into Human Resources so they can start clocking in?". Or "Ana, I need you to type something for me quickly." Sometimes if the DMO (Dish-Machine Operator) leaves before all the dishes are clean, I'll go and finish the remainder of the dishes. It has gotten to the point where some of the other employees that have worked there longer than I think I have a key to the managers' office when in reality, I don't have one. I just tell the Shift Manager that the owner asked me to do something in the office. I feel as though they have a habit of underappreciating the ones who take on more work than what is described in their job description.

Pros: The staff that I have known for so long.

Cons: I just don't fill appreciated.
