What is it like working at Golden LivingCenters?

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Pros: The residents.
Cons: No commication.
Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
Pros: I love taking care if the residents and their families.
Cons: Staffing situations . When administration makes it more about the money than the care.
Good experience good people.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Pros: Working with the residents, good enviroment.
Cons: Inadequate staff, stress, not enough doctors to take care of residents.
Mediocre.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: I have no good things to say about them.
Cons: Work short staffed, high stress levels, expected to do the impossible on every shift.
Horrible working conditions.
Charge Nurse (LPN):
Pros: My patients and co-workers.
Cons: No raises in 6 years. No incentives. No reviews. Management will not help if we are short staffed. 35 patients to 1 nurse. No support. Residents are allowed to physically and verbally abuse the staff. Old broken equipment. No isolation equipment ever. To much more to list.
Work flexibility.
Charge Nurse (LPN):
Pros: Helping people teaching them how to better care for there loved ones.
Cons: The work load to to much for one nurse.
I Love My Residents.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: Caring for those who are unable to care for themselves, making a them laugh and feel human and not just a patient number. Listening to their life stories and loving them for who they are.
Cons: Nurse's don't listen to the CNA's about problems or concerns a resident is having such as pain, loneliness, anxiety etc.
