General Electric (GE) Healthcare Reviews
What is it like working at General Electric (GE) Healthcare?
Great company if you are a self starter.
Training Coordinator in Marlborough:
Pros: Knowing that your contribution is appreciated.
Cons: Lack of transparency.
A goose chase to get, any recognition for changes and advise for my. It is taken and then the manger leeds, it as his own and then laugh at you or belittles you once you confront them about that change you suggested.
Painter in Noblesville:
Pros: To paint and attempt to lead.
Cons: If your not careful they let you know when, you overstepped you poison even though you have more knowledge then the other so it turn into an argument. Anyone can do this job. but they confine an hide their tracks when they do its final. I can't even contact HR with out my manager to hold my hand. EHS manger is no where near qwaified then they fire and had the other EHS women let go then the bring in a new one 3 years later after the one who knew EHS and didi EHS till you got someone but i cant apply to the role? Its a Very shady place. They don't pay you correctly for what type of work you do its a number game how many can you do, don't worry about quality.
Labor intensive.
Warehouse Lead in Logan:
Pros: Flexibility of jobs preformed.
Cons: Management and H.R.
Visible but not independent.
Global Program Director in Waukesha:
Pros: Fun filled, high energy, visible, new skills, new teams, green field initiatives
Cons: Very passive aggressive, credit low, less incentive for performing hard, not owner of the project outcome, more of a facilitator
Diagnostic Imaging Service Engineer in Indianapolis:
Long hours, not a very good work life balance. Managers don't know what they are doing and will promise anything to the customer to keep their revenue numbers up. Toxic environment and team mates made this job easy to leave. The culture has shifted from investing in their employees to 'what ever we can do to save a buck'. What once was a great company is now a shadow of it's former self.
Great Place to Work if Pay isn't Important.
Software Engineer in Glen Allen:
Pros: The people, the work, the implications of the projects we're doing
Cons: Not very competitive pay, according to PayScale and Glassdoor
Junior Software Engineer:
It is a really good place to work IF:
- you get to work on a live project. Sadly there are projects never finished, or without actual customers.
- you fight yourself a good salary initially. It's a big company, promotions might be slow sometimes.
