FIS Reviews

What is it like working at FIS?

Awesome.
Security Analyst in Jacksonville:
Pros: Can come in between 7-9 without being dinged for tardiness. Flexible so I can actually use my benefits.
Cons: Looking at a screen all days
Old and New technologies, trying to blend.
Senior Software Engineer in Orlando:
Pros: Learned to begin to work with new programming language being used.
Cons: No one else to work on the old programming language, so you forget what you learned in the new programming language.
As is often the case, it depends on who you are working for and what project your working on.
Senior Project Manager, IT in Jacksonville:
Pros: The people
Cons: Senior Leadership Politics
Very flexible, solid benefits, good experiences with management.
Business Process Analyst in Jacksonville:
Pros: I love the flexibility and freedom. My manager isn't looking over my shoulder every second, and I feel like communication is really solid and friendly. I can work from home when I want and go to the office when I want. I also have relatively flexible hours. All I need to do is get my work done.
Cons: It feels like the work comes in waves, where sometimes it'll be very empty and other times there will be a ton of tasks to complete.
Very rewarding career. The interactions with different clients on a daily basis is great!
