What is it like working at Dollar General Corporation?

I do like my job but I feel that I am under paid.
Sales Associate in San Antonio:
Pros: I love to make people happy. I enjoy the reg customers.
Cons: I feel that I am under paid for the amount of work I do.
Manager of DG.
Retail Store Manager:
Pros: I like the people I work with.
Cons: 6day, 55+hr work week. Although store surpasses all sales goals providing over 5% more profit than forecasted it is High stress due to constant and never ending demands faced solely by the Manager due to companies payroll budget not matching needs of sales volume and heavy workload, Zero Supivisory or peer support. Staffing, scheduling, and employee management take 3% of total time. The remaining 97% you do the exact same job as everyone else, running register 25% of your time and stocking 50%. Cleaning, and merchandising 22%.

Never a Dull Moment.
General Store Manager:
Pros: Fast paced, there's always something to do at all times. The only way that you'll make it far as a Store manager here is by utilizing your people to help you out; DELEGATE.
Cons: The pay is not very fair, especially when it's compared to other Store Manager's pay.
Too little pay and they want you to do work for 2 people.
Sales Associate:
Pros: A pay check.
Plesant but aggravating with added stress.
Cashier:
Pros: Customers.
Cons: To much expectation with little time.
Public.
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: Working with the public.
Cons: We do most of the work and receive no bonus we r the bottom.
