Pros: I enjoy the hands on work I do, as well as, the ability to perform research for new and existing technology.
Cons: The pay is low for me. Not necessarily true for everyone else though.
Loving the Laser Playground.
Optical Laboratory Technician in Rochester:
Pros: You get to use a lot of cool gadgets and machinery. There is always more to learn, and a lot of knowledgeable people you can learn from.
Cons: Finding out what sort of pay you should expect here is like pulling teeth. The lab is often pretty dark, which is not great for your eyes.
