Charter Communications, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Charter Communications, Inc.?

Exhausting.
Senior Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Greensboro:
Pros: I do not like much other than the remote work opportunity but that has now come at a cost.
Cons: Lack of accountability across departments
Equality.
Field Service Technician in Charlotte:
Pros: Not having to sit in a office, I’m a service tech so I’m outside working all day
Cons: Having to work every weekend either Saturday or Sunday
Helping clients.
Sales Engineer in Cerritos:
Pros: Helping clients improve their network and provide better cost effective services.
Cons: Internal processes
If you're not a woman and you don't mind being under paid.
Director of Strategic Planning in Maryland Heights:
Pros: The 2 days of working from home per week
Cons: Only 2 days working from home per week
Decent pay, good benefits.
Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Colorado Springs:
Pros: Decent pay, good benefits
Cons: For profit organization. Taking calls from angry customers all day, every day.
Software Engineer in Denver:
Pros: Some projects can be really fun. The job feels stable and reliable. Initial compensation seems fair, but year over year is underwhelming. Cons: Very slow-moving and hierarchical. My management is great, but higher up the chain can be very old school (for instance, remote work during COVID was slow to start and frowned upon) More formal dress is expected than many software jobs.
Varies depending on the team.
Senior Software Engineer in Denver:
Pros: The organization that I work for allows for lot of independent research and architecture, meaning I learn quite a bit.
Cons: There are a lot of issues with how compensation and employee evaluations are done, meaning if one person succeeds another person must fail.
