Capgemini Reviews

What is it like working at Capgemini?

No full visibility on strategies.
Senior Project Manager, IT in Bangalore:
Pros: Flexibility and employee friendly policies
Cons: Communication or responsiveness can be better
Frustrating work structure.
Information Technology (IT) Consultant in Carrollton:
Pros: I appreciate the fact that they do not overwork you (at least not yet). I can expect to average 40 hours a week. I appreciate also that there are so many opportunities for learning and upskilling.
Cons: The company is large a bureacratic. Even while trying my best to do what is asked of me I find that sometimes I fail simply because I was given wrong information or just not given information I needed. Their method for putting consultants onto projects is convoluted and messy, resulting in extreme inefficiency and leaving many new consultants to fend for themselves with no clear knowledge of how the process is supposed to work. Also they are inflexible regarding pay and HR is unhelpful and unfeeling if you have anything on a personal level that you are trying to work around your professional life. On the whole, they promised that they put their people first and I don't see that at all.
Freedom and Responsibility.
Lead Software Engineer in Amsterdam:
Pros: The push to grow constantly
Cons: Some collaborators with different roles push for their own agenda and this creates misalignments sometimes
Its a Good Experience.
Test Manager in Mumbai:
Pros: I am given authority of taking decisions and I am heard
Cons: My Payscale is not normalized
Always something new and challenging.
Project Management Consultant in Los Angeles:
Pros: The facts that I can venture into new avenues and grow professionally
Cons: Having to manage people who have higher grades than me
Great Place to work for short time.
Senior Graphic Designer in Mumbai:
Pros: Creative assignments with new learning tools to learn
Cons: Non Designer background Manager who has no experience about design field. Gives nonsense changes and ruined great ideas.
Extremely Low Paid Job with High Risk of Layoff for Senior Employees.
Information Technology (IT) Consultant in Bangalore:
Pros: Good Work-life balance and Availing leaves.
Cons: Salary, Appraisal Process and Job Security
