Pros: I originally began as a freelance graphic designer and when I applied for this job, I didn't have a degree in design and was up against other candidates who did. I appreciate the fact that this employer saw in me what I always knew but was hesitant to take a chance on, I was naturally talented. So, even though I didn't have actually work experience with another employer or a degree in the field, they took a risk on me as I did in changing careers. I'm a creative and they saw that in my resume with my breadth of work within the marketing field and two degrees.

Cons: It's a fast paced, fast turn around environment that is highly stressful with hefty deadlines. It can be draining for a creative to have to work so fast in an environment that doesn't have lead way to balance work and life since casinos/hotels are hospitality, we work 24/7. It's very hard to recharge and actually take time off of work so you can be the best employee and produce the best work for your employer.
