Contracts Manager in Cary:
The contracting group was not in the correct department. The group had a high turn over rate and lacked upper management support and employee development. The company culture did not allow for all employees to receive the same opportunities. Advancement wasn't based on merit, it was based on politics. I found the environment toxic.
Management Consultant:
Most of the consultants have a good background and are very experienced. However, there is many senior people without consulting background with project roles that they have little experience in. Getting promoted is based on time, not on performance.
