Abbott Laboratories Reviews

What is it like working at Abbott Laboratories?

Interesting, rewarding , fulfilling.
Manufacturing Engineer in Sligo:
Pros: Learning, progression
Cons: Other people not pulling their weight, but talk a good game.
Fast Paced Production.
Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) Inspector in Dallas:
Pros: Top industry company, great work culture and benefits. Allows for very independent working structure.
Cons: Lack of transparency on positions and salaries.
A lot of talk with little action.
Material Handler in Pomona:
Pros: The employees I work with are very helpful and courteous. We try and enjoy the work we do and make life as easy as possible for each other.
Cons: Management gives you the run around on any negative issue you may report. This includes problems with other employees, problems with pay or issues regarding your responsibilities. No one in management has people skills and are very non-confrontational so they find ways to retreat into excuses rather than face problems to find solutions.
Challenging but Intellectually Stimulating.
Senior Electrical Engineer in Sylmar:
Pros: Opportunity to grow both technically and professionally.
Cons: Being tied to specific projects for too long. I like to diversify to learn.
Great company to work for.
Senior Engineering Technician in Pleasanton:
Pros: Great product that saves lives.
Cons: forced to use our PTO when company ask and not when we want.
It has been an amazing educational turn.
Account Manager in Kansas City:
Pros: Flexibility with hours when something personal may come up.
Cons: Nothing.
Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Austin:
A completely toxic culture within the Regulatory Affairs department in Neuromodulation. The current director has had high attrition rate since her time in that role, that it should be obvious to management that there is a problem at the top. The average stay for an employee is less than two years.
