What is it like working at Wipro?

Senior Software Engineer:
Be ready NOT to be rewarded for ur consistent good work. Less compensation/hike even after the highest appraisal ratings year on year. Work on legacy technology, no modern technology work. Shift work. Stupid managers.
Work is not bad but pay scale is really low.
Desktop Support Engineer in Jalandhar:
Pros: Things that I get to learn.
Cons: Pay scale.
Good learning.
Senior Software Engineer:
Pros: New challenges.
Cons: Restricted growth.
Ok.
Project Manager, Information Technology (IT):
Pros: Corporate culture, work flexibility, office conditions, stress level, perks, the management.
Cons: Corporate culture, work flexibility, office conditions, stress level, perks, the management.

Project Engineer:
Pros: 1)Good Infrastructure. 2)Good facities in the company. 3)Its comparatively easy to change the project.
Cons: 1)salary perks are very poor. 2)working hours are not flexible. 3) Asking release from the project may cost a bad rating in the appraisal. 4)Too much of stupid policies under which employees wont get a hike even though the rating is ok. 5)Promotion is almost impossible. Sometimes my lead to working in the same role for 4 years.
Career Review.
Software Test Lead:
Pros: Excellent work culture, opportunity to grow as a leader in Test Management. Good learning curve with an excellent world class training available.
Cons: Pay scale and annual assessments.
