Lots of freedom to do what you think is best without a lot of management oversight. Exciting, fresh, greenfield technology. Compensation is fantastic. Not crazy hours unless you want to, but everyone is heads down working during the day.

Cons: The people. Everyone is entitled and acts like they built Amazon themselves. The scale has massively lowered the bar. I was expecting to be surrounded by geniuses but there were far more innovative and engaged people at the just-passed-IPO company I was at before Amazon.
