EY (Ernst & Young) Reviews

What is it like working at EY (Ernst & Young)?

Great learning opportunities with fun at work.
Internal Auditor in Jalgaon:
Pros: Team work and review mechanism
Cons: Working late hours
Risk Advisory Staff.
Business Consultant in Atlanta:
Pros: EY cares about its people
Cons: The pay is low
Too much work. Unfair compensation.
Executive Assistant in Johannesburg:
Pros: Flexibility
Cons: Unfair pay
A challenge to prove your worth.
Audit Clerk in Cape Town:
Pros: My peers are lovely and I enjoy my job where I get to move to different clients and work in different spaces and environments.
Cons: I am treated poorly by management, receive insufficient training and never receive recognition for things I've done right, only what I've done wrong.
It's good, but not good in terms of pay if you're home grown.
Project Manager, (Unspecified Type / General) in Bangalore:
Pros: Everything except pay, which has come down in the standards since past few years
Cons: Pay/Compensation
Senior Tax Consultant in Rotterdam:
Pros: The tax technical challenge.
Cons: Office politics, the fact that rating and raises in salary and giving promotions are not a transparent process.
Security Consultant, (Computing / Networking / Information Technology) in Sydney:
Great place for people who "get" how consulting can offer a way to drive your own career. Terrible place for people who wait for work to be assigned rather than choose what they want to work on - most projects suck, and comp does not match. The culture is good, people are friendly and quite often very competent. Management often sell work to clients without having a clear idea on how it gets done.
