KPMG, LLP Reviews
What is it like working at KPMG, LLP?
Great firm, if you get a good project and team.
Management Consultant:
Pros: KPMG has a lot of resources, from reimbursement of training/certifications, to Volunteer Time Realse. It is great to work with intelligent, driven people. Generally speaking, there are a lot of different industries and types of projects you can work on, even travel in an international rotation if you wish.
Cons: While there are many available projects, moving to projects you want to work on is extremely difficult if your PML (People Management Leader) or project partners do not allow you to leave. You can be on long term projects that do not give you the exposure to new industries and clients, which is the highlight of a consulting career. Usually, you work very long hours, including weekends, and can starting at a low pay. Promotion and pay increases are heavily dependent on your PML and how your PML fights for you during Year-End discussions.
Long hours with average pay.
Associate Auditor:
Pros: Meeting people, talented, skillful and people who can manage really well.
Cons: Long hours and compensation.
It is a great learning experiance with good working atmosphe.
Senior Auditor:
Bunch of misfits.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: No micromanaging involved and great benefits.
Cons: There's a bunch of misfits and people don't know what they're doing and they're title is "manager" without managing employees.
