Quest Diagnostics Reviews

What is it like working at Quest Diagnostics?

Pretty amazing and eye opening.
Specimen Processor in Reseda:
Pros: Being able to learn different medical terminology
Cons: Not enough opportunities to be on my feet
They are a good company to work for.
Phlebotomist in Bristol:
Pros: Working alone in my own office
Cons: Slow days with low amount of patients
Really?
Phlebotomy Supervisor in Denver:
Pros: My patients
Cons: Employees are given preferential treatment even if they are severely underperforming. People that deserve promotions are not given them instead underperforming employees are given the promotions or are allowed to stay in their current leadership positions even if they blatantly tell other employees they are only staying in their job for the money. They commit osha recordables, cuss around patients, eat in the blood processing areas, have patents verify labels with their name on them BEFORE drawing the blood which ALWAYS needs to be done after patients blood is drawn. Theyvtell new employees not to talk to the patients just get them in and out total 360 degree deviation from how Quest Diagnostics would like to portray their company yet ALL managers turn a blind eye to this behavior.
Stressful, satisfying, but no room to grow.
Forensic Scientist in Los Angeles:
Pros: We have team huddles where we review what is successful and problems on our shift. It is addressed right away and resolved quickly.
Cons: Stress of deadlines. No room for errors. Long hours and breaks are mucromanaged
Quest.
Certified Phlebotomy Technician in Denver:
Pros: Ability to make an impact on patients lives
Cons: The pay has stagnated.
Phlebotomist:
Starting pay for new phlebotomist was good 18 hr. This is my first phlebotomist position. It's just a PT position to get my foot in the door. I have a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift and weekend shifts. So far so good.
Good, except for the pay.
Phlebotomist in Louisville:
Pros: I work independently and good up to date training
Cons: The pay
