Welder Reviews
What is it like working as a Welder?
May 2022
Mindless work, management here is not good.
Welder in Milnor:
Pros: I can leave it all at the factory at the end of the day.
Cons: The management is very poor.
March 2022
Not a good welding job hardly any iron work at all it gets subcontracted to other company’s.
Welder in Dunwoody:
Pros: I like it when I actually work and learn and experience challenging tasks.
Cons: That I don’t get to do my field of work
March 2022
For a honest person who knows how to do the job, HORRIBLE.
Welder in Panama City:
Pros: It's in Florida
Cons: The lying, no wps, no leadership, terrible pay, cutting corners and not going by regulation, no training, have to pay for your tools in the tool room, no more pay for more certification. I would hate to work with the Coast Guard and have to use these boats, no QC ever inspects fitters work, Fitters don't clean their work for the welders.
March 2022
I do the most in my area and the least paid doing more I'd a line leaders job to get work done because if I don't boss others around jobs wouldn't get done in a timely fashion.
Welder in Waco:
Pros: I dint have to explaine myself for using my pto
Cons: Lack of acknowledgment
February 2022
Great Communication and Appreciation.
Welder in Milwaukee:
Pros: Bosses are always willing to help any way they can, if I need another tool because mine got snatched up by someone else or it just broke they will either find me a new one or order one right away. If I have any concerns management has been amazing about having a conversation with me about anything!
Cons: Just the standard factory work, noisy, metal shards poking your fingers. But that’s what my job is and I genuinely enjoy it, so it’s not really a complaint.
December 2021
It can both demanding and rewarding.
Welder in Hampton:
Pros: I get to do what I love
Cons: That the higher ups dont view us the way they should
November 2021
Its a nice environment and people are always friendly.
Welder in Cape Town:
Pros: Close to my family and friends
Cons: Racism and underpayment
