Warehouse Associate Reviews

What is it like working as a Warehouse Associate?

May 2014
Constant communication necessary.
Warehouse Associate:
Make sure upper management communicates with lower management.
April 2014
Warehouse Associate:
Pros: Flexible hours due to medical reasons, part-time benefits.
Cons: Lazy to hard working people ratio is awful, makes the harder working people pick up the slack, bosses don't seem to notice / care.
February 2014
Awesome Place To Work.
Warehouse Associate:
Pros: The freedom. I am free to make/initiate changes to my work environment as I see fit. I can request additional supplies or tools to assist in my daily tasks and have the information about why I need more tools and can present that to my manager for consideration in getting the tools I am requesting. I have a positive work environment and lots of support from the people I work closely with.
Cons: All the changes as of recent. Also, the pay I currently receive. I feel that the amount of work and everything I'm responsible for is not properly compensated. A lot of work, a lot of responsibility, and the pay doesn't match these things. I also have a work partner who I work closely with every day and he doesn't carry his weight. He needs to constantly be reminded of very simple things, and has no "high gear" when it starts getting busy. He works at the same slow speed all the time. He'll only start moving faster when I get on him about it - no initiative.
