Pros: Working with animals and being able to make animals better.

Veterinary Assistant in Portland:
Pros: I love being able to work with animals in a setting that challenges me everyday. I am learning something new everyday whether it involves diagnostic care or honing my technical skills in working with animal patients.
Cons: It can get hectic and stressful, especially when we are under-staffed. Clients, by and large don't fully understand or respect our line of work as medical professionals because we work with animals and not humans.
