What is it like working as a Toolmaker?

June 2016
It's good work.
Toolmaker:
Pros: That you got to practice to be good at it. You can't buy experience.
Cons: The pay and the limitations to doing what I feel I should be doing.

July 2015
Skills are transferable to all of lifes adventures.
Toolmaker:
Learn math, treat all people with respect and ignore idiots, and grow thick skin from criticism.
January 2015
It would pay better.
Toolmaker:
It's a good job an a career. New idea every day.

Toolmaker.
Toolmaker:
Take up a different career, high stress levels due to the precise tolerances working to day in, day out and low pay make it a route not worth perusing. There are better careers which are less stressful and pay far better. I would take the route as an electrician if you are undecided as pay in this sector is far better and it is far less stressful. If you make a mistake as a toolmaker it usually means severe consequences due to the costs involved in remaking the component. You can literally have a bad day at work! Which considering the very low pay in this sector it just isn't worth it anymore.
