I moved here from Silicon Valley. Lot's of Tech roles but San Antonio based companies Lowball. Work Remotely to get the salary you deserve.
Technical Support Specialist in San Antonio:
Pros: I most like that it's not a rat race here. It's a sleeping giant. If you come from a more tech-savvy city you can excel really fast here. Many ppl here want nothing to do with IT roles which in return creates opportunities
Cons: San Antonio is really behind to be the 7th biggest city. Horrible public transportation. No carpool lanes and not enough Uber drivers. BUT, you can pay your rent in 3 or 4 days pay. It's a beautiful city and nice to slow the pace & smell the roses
