What is it like working as a Software Engineer?

It's a great company especially when you get a great manager like what I currently have. Its a place where hard work pays off. In tech stack perspective they still use some old technologies for some products but yes they are moving gradually.
Software Engineer in Bangalore:
Pros: They provide opportunity to speak up and the way employees are nurtured. But it completely depends on your manager how much exposure you will get.
Cons: The less transparency from the leadership team. Not sure if it is required, or it is bad.

Pros: Well, so many job opportunities here with good pay. Being the capital city of Indonesia means you can expect to get yourself a higher degree of living if you get a good job with a good pay.
Cons: The headline explains it. Many people come to Jakarta but not everyone prepares of what they about to face. The traffic is one of the worst in the world. Air quality sucks. But if you can land a nice job with nice a pay well you can consider it all worth the sacrifice you make. My experience in the first two years was suck. So much time wasted commuting every day. Nearly 3 hours a day is spent commuting to work and returning home. After two years I find a nice place to live closer to my workplace and moved there. From then I have spent way less time commuting. It only takes 5 minutes now to my work

Great place to work at.
Software Engineer in Bangalore:
Pros: Work can be related to most parts of the system, the verticals, as I work in a platform. Impact can be easily quantified, and these guys really care about their customers, merchant partners and driver partners all alike.
All while also creating a very positive work environment and compensating their employees well.
Cons: The point of compensation hike did take a hit during the pandemic last year, but could have been taken care of this year. Which they failed to do because a bunch of experienced and good engineers started leaving.
