Decent company, great mission but very low compensation.
Senior Software Engineer in Santa Clara:
Pros: The mission of the company to fight cancer
Cons: Office politics, senior management that does not care about individual contributors - they only care about promoting themselves and making money for themselves in the name of "The Fight against cancer". They are overly concerned with maintaining the "status quo" in the company and change here is slow and almost impossible. Individual contributors are paid extremely low salaries and have unrealistic expectations to meet, despite no monetary recognition or incentive.
