Senior Project Manager, IT in Indianapolis:
Hiring process took 8 interviews. Really great benefits! Competitive pay. Nice office and culture. Management is supportive. After 7 months of employment at Genesys, I can honestly say that I enjoy working here and don’t regret the move.
August 2019
Old company, old tech. Old-style managers who are too hands-off.
Senior Project Manager, IT in Costa Mesa:
Pros: The people I work with on the new software teams are genuine, honest and solid people to work with.
Cons: This company still subscribes to the "you need to work nights and weekends to do what I want you to do" mentality. The IT department is trying to go through a transformation, but it's very frayed and hard to determine if it's making any movement.
July 2019
Busy but fun!
Senior Project Manager, IT in Fort Walton Beach:
Pros: Get to work on exciting projects with big name clients.
Cons: Can get stressful and I make much less than I used to.
July 2019
Great people and enjoyable mission driven work in the tech industry.
Senior Project Manager, IT in New York:
Pros: autonomy, flexible schedules and the connection to work I care about
Cons: lack of career growth/paths, lack of transparency about compensation, all male director/senior level staff (with the exception of the Senior Leadership team)
July 2019
Providence is a great city!
Senior Project Manager, IT in Providence:
Pros: Very walkable.
Cons: Bottlenecking traffic during commuter times. But, on a positive note, this happens in most cities.
June 2019
Senior Project Manager, IT in Naperville:
Always furloughing people and outsourcing to India and elsewhere. Always whinging they have no money and start cutting budgets in January. They pay as low as they can. If you're desperate work there until you can get a real job. They have no idea what they are doing and they're cheap cheap cheap. It's a real Sxxt Show.
