Pros: Working in Atlanta is a good balance between affordability and career opportunities. If you are able to find a job here then it is a good place to establish your family here as cost of living is low. There are great schools to send your kids to as well.
Cons: Atlanta is not the best city to work or live if you are a fan of a more scenic city. Atlanta is not the prettiest city. You cannot go out and enjoy a view of the Bay Bridge or relax by the ocean or hike up a mountain. Atlanta is not made for an outdoorsy person.

Knowing how to write a crystal report, work SPSS, or what ever analysis tools you like is all fine, but if you don't understand the business market, aims, customer base you cannot do good analysis that can be used to guide the business. Learn the businesses, learn the products/services etc.
