Everything was a lie.
Salon Manager:
Talk to the current employees and also past employees if you can. All employees at all levels and years with employer. Find out their current position and if they have had other positions within company. Ask if they are truly happy. Try to find employees who once held the position you are considering, ask specific questions of support, time frame, expectations, pay, perks, thoughts.

Salon Manager:
Pros: Helping stylist grow there business & they make a good living, and having a team of people that love coming to work. Building a great customer base and seeing clients that love to visit our salon.
Cons: Corporate culture, stress level.

Cons: High pressure/stress. Inconsistency with operational expectations, political.

Its not what you think it is. You don't get to groom as much as you think and there are so many rules but a lack of management support from above.
