Pros: The ability to manage my own budget and work plan. No micro managers meddling in priorities. Clients are appreciative and respectful of services requested and received. Good benefits and nice working conditions.
Cons: Lack of direction from upper management or ability to focus on a short and long term plan. Inability for management to act professionally and deal with issues. Clients lack focus and ability to prioritize concerns and issues. Or capacity to meaningfully participate in projects. No additional opportunity to advance career.
